Mouse in the House

Yes, you heard me right. I discovered a mouse in my house today. Yuck, gross, disgusting etc. It is actually in my garage but to me that is still no good at all. I went to get in the car this morning and glanced over to the tool bench. There, hopping all over Tim's tools was a little mouse. Hopping around, invading my space. UGH! So, I calmly got in the car and went to Target and bought some mouse bait. I didn't say anything to the kids until we got home. I explained that we needed to go inside at the same time so that the mouse didn't get scared and run inside because the door was hanging open. I know I am probably overreacting to a little mouse but at least I didn't scream or tell the kids to run. I stayed pretty calm and have stayed away from the garage since I got home.

Yuck. We have BTDT. They have battery operated traps that will zap the mouse and a little light will flash, telling you that you have caught one. Then you just open the door and dump it and you never have to see or touch it. And it is reuseable. And no kids will eat it or get snapped by it. Good luck catching your little friend!

Wow...I didn't realize that you felt the same way about those things. Rodents and I DO NOT get along at all. You go girl...set the traps, put out the bait, etc. and then have your man take it OUT!

Oh my goodness! How awful! I am a huge scaredy cat when it comes to rodents. We had them twice at our old house, I begged Paul to move both times.

That is not fun, but at least it was in the garage. Good luck with the bait.

One of my favorite moments is Jeremy and Kelly trying to catch a mouse in our old house and both guys were laying on the floor looking under the amore and the mouse ran straight at them. I have never seen to men jump higher and scream with such a pitch. IT was priceless. They did however catch it. So hang in there.
