Getting better

We made it through the weekend. We took shifts with Darcy throughout the day and night. We have to take the brace off every couple of hours to check for blisters and stretch her feet. She likes it when we take it off and hates it when it goes back on. She does have one blister already so she really hates it when we put that shoes on. But, last night she slept in her own bed for half of the night. Yesterday she took one nap on the couch instead of in somebody's arms (that didn't happen today though). She isn't freaking out as much when we touch her feet. So, we will get there.

I am glad that the kids are out of school this week for spring break. I have a whole week before I have to try and get people out the door in the morning. It may not be a very exciting spring break for them although the boys did get to go to Uncle John and Aunt Naomi's house for a sleepover last night. The house was so quiet this morning. I am sure that the rest of the week will be different. Our boys don't know how to sleep in or how to be quiet. :)

Hi Tiffini! My goodness it has been too long since I have checked blogs. So much has happened to you and your family. Your little Darcy is so beautiful! And what a little trooper she has become with all that she has gone through. What a difference it has made though.

I can't believe how big the rest of the kids have gotten! Has it really been 3 or more years since you left!? Well I just want you to know that I think your family is beautiful and I miss seeing you!

Wow Tiff, you are amazing with all the goings on in your life. Darcy is beautiful, and I am glad that everything is going well with her feet. I hope things continue to go well and she adjusts to her new brace. Good luck, and if you ever need anything, please call.
