One Year

Darcy turned one yesterday! We had family come over for dinner and then we opened presents. Her favorite gift was the baby doll given to her by Grandma Cluff. She enjoyed the frosting first and then ate about half of her piece of cake. In fact, she started snitching the frosting before we could even sing happy birthday! She is an adorable little bundle of energy. She escapes up the stairs faster than anything and she speeds up if she thinks someone is coming up behind her to take her down. She loves to dance, to be turned upside down and to be tossed in the air. Anything that keeps her moving.
I took her to the Doctor today and she is now a whopping 18 lbs 9 oz. That moved her up to the 15th percentile. Her height and head are both in the 50th percentile. She is healthy and happy. We delight in her dimple, her laugh and her snuggles. Yesterday she was using the wall to help her walk. I don't think it will be long now.
