Tim's car is officially in the shop for repairs. We will get it back next year. Seriously, next year. The shop plans for 4 hours a day on each car and it will take 24 days according to the estimate. It will also cost about $8700--according to the estimate. I still can't get over that part. And that estimate is using some reconditioned parts too! It will cost $80 just to replace the Toyota sign and the Toyota Corolla LE that goes on the back bumper. I am glad that the insurance company is paying for it!! We also know that our car is at still worth at least $10800 because they would just total it out if repairs were more than 80% of the blue book value.
