Ethan's teacher is teaching her class about government, the constitution, etc. Today, Ethan had a chance to see what it is like to live in a democracy. He attended an Educational Protest/Rally. The latest idea for how to fill in the budget gap includes increasing class size to 40+ students and doing away with Kindergarten. Obviously, these ideas are not sitting well with parents and educators. So, Tim and Ethan headed over to the Capitol building to witness and participate in the protest. I hope they can come up with some alternative options.

Doing away with kindergarten? Unbelievable! I thought it was bad here, cutting 5 school days and going to 26 kids per class (grades K-3). But, we still have full-day kindergarten so I should count my blessings even when it means we're paying an extraordinary amount of taxes.
