Wyatt has been participating in 2nd grade workshops throughout the year with Mrs. Hufford--the GT teacher. During the most recent workshop the kids learned about rainforests and put on a musical. It was about a little frog who wanted to go to the top of the forest canopy and see what it was like. She meets up with different rainforest animals and asks for help getting to the top. Wyatt played the part of one of the Sloths, who wanted to help but were just too tired to climb the tree. They sang a song about it and in between each verse they 'fell asleep'.

I'm a sloth, I'd be down there in blink. I'm a sloth, but I'm just too tired to think. I'm a sloth, why just yesterday I blinked, and ate some sap, I need a nap. (fall asleep)
I'm a sloth, I'd be bounding in a blur. I'm a sloth, but I find it hard to stir. I'm a sloth, I've got algae in my fur, two inches deep, I need some sleep. (yawn) I need some sleep. (go offstage)
Wyatt did a great job of looking sleepy. It was a lot of fun to watch and Tim was even able to get off work early to come.
