Cascade

The kids love to play chess in the upstairs lobby area
It has been over a year since we made it up to Cascade. The last time we went it was cold and there was still enough snow in some spots for sledding. This time the weather was great. It wasn't too hot but it was warm enough for shorts. We headed up after lunch and got there just in time for check-in. We started off with a walk around the hotel and some very anticipated frisbee throwing for Ethan and Tim. There is a train stop (a covered deck area with some benches) on the hotel property which the kids got a kick out of. They raced up and down the ramp again and again. The evening included dinner at a local restaurant, swimming, cookies and milk, and a movie.
