Pictures!!

I have a few fun pictures from this past week that I wanted to share. I am still experimenting with the formatting of all of this so I will write about them in the order I think they will post. I am sure you will all be able to tell which one goes with which description.

First, a picture of all of my boys. We took this on Father's day when the boys were all dressed up. We didn't do anything too amazing for Tim. We got him a pair of shorts and made a big turkey dinner. (Tim helped though). We did invite my dad and mom to help us eat the turkey--I think that was the first time we have had my parents over for Fathers Day. Usually, one of my brothers snag him and we can't all coordinate church times on Sundays.

Next, is a picture of our toothless Ethan. He lost tooth number 4 on Tuesday night. I finally couldn't stand it anymore and did the dental floss trick that Grandma showed us on Sunday (the pliers didn't work this time). I told Tim that it wasn't fair that I always had to pin him down to get out his teeth. My dad always played the bad guy on that one! But, Tim is always the nice guy with the kids. I always have to play meanie. But hey--the tooth is out now, Ethan is a whole dollar richer, and he loves to give that toothless smile.

The final three pictures are from swim lessons this week. I wish I could keep them in lessons all summer. Maybe then they would get to the point where they could be in the water without hanging on to the edge or a person. Wyatt has been so funny about it all. He spends the morning asking if he is going swimming with Cassie today. Then, he cries that he wants to just stay on "the porch" (the bleacher area) and very reluctantly goes to Cassie for his lesson. Then, the rest of the day, he talks about how much fun he had swimming. Ethan is loving it. He keeps track of how long he kept his face under water (9 seconds is the longest so far). Today, he even opened his eyes under water. Zach spent half of the first lesson sitting outside of the pool. He will get in the water now and occasionally lets go of the instructors neck while they are doing kicking practice. Progress!!!
