Reading-- Zachary is my little bookworm. He loves to read anything he can get his hands on. He often disappears and I find him up in the toy room with a stack of books. He and Ethan bought a bunch of the "Magic Tree House" books on Ebay and he has been reading those over and over.
"Art projects"--One of the books Zachary has been devouring was given to us by our neighbor Kelli. It is called "The Dangerous Book for Boys". There are sections that teach different paper airplane designs and paper folding projects like boats, hats etc. I have lost count of how many airplanes, water bombs, and paper boats I have around the house now. Zach loves to make the airplanes and then color them.
Animals--Zach and Wyatt are really into Big Cats this summer. The will play "The Big Cats Game" where they crawl around the house pretending to be lions, tigers or cougars looking for prey or protecting their little stuffed tigers and lions. (Zach always makes Wyatt be the mom and he is the dad--of course Wyatt doesn't care.) Zach even made them a lion and lioness mask while we were at Grandma's house.
Swimming--Of course Zach is enjoying our trips to the wading pool. He loves to crawl around the pool pretending to be different animals that love water. Usually he is a dolphin or a seal. When Caleb is at the pool they play tigers, dinos or dolphins together. The two of them are on such the same wavelength when it comes to the way they play. He is really going to miss his buddy. Tim was watching the two of them before Primary started on Sunday. He said their little heads were bobbing up and down, they were pointing at who knows what and just acting silly. (Luckily, once primary started they were settled down and paying attention!)

Zach swallowed an Advil today. I know it doesn't sound too exciting but we have some pill swallowing-averse children. This is a big day!...

I like how you said that he and Ethan bought some books on ebay. I can picture them browsing the listings and paying with PayPal. You sure have a smartie on your hands!
Zach is so much like Hayden. She was reading before kindergarten and read everything she could get her hands onto!
