A house!!

Ok--so much has happened lately that I don't know if I will have the time or patience with my typing to get it all in. First, the boys are in school! Ethan had his first day on Monday and Zach started on Tuesday. On the left is a picture of the boys at the bus stop after school on Tuesday. Zachary actually didn't miss any kindergarten because they did assessments the first week. His assessment was entertaining. His teacher held up a book and asked him what it was. He looked quite confused by the question but did figure out what she meant. Then, she opened up the book, laid it in front of him and asked him to point to the top of the page. Zachary, with all of his wonderful listening skills, promptly read the sentences on the page to her. She made a comment about how her other questions were answered with that and then asked him one more time where the top of the page was. It should be an interesting year. Of course, though, he loves it because they do art projects and his teacher is reading "Dinosaurs Before Dark" to the class. Ethan is already recruiting kids to play basketball with him. I am sure once he figures out everyones name he will start keeping stats. It is a little bit strange to only see 3 classrooms for each grade...I guess I was used to how the school was set up back home.

Next---Wyatt. He is having a hard time with not seeing his friends. On Sunday, he said he didn't want to go to nursery. He kept telling me that all through Sacrament meeting. At one point, he said..."I don't want to go to nursery...I want to find Sage". He sure knows how to break my heart!! I had to sit in nursery with him for a while, until he stopped crying and got distracted with crayons.

Now Mallory--She is a newborn....keeping us up at night, wanting to have all of the attention...in fact she just woke up so this may get cut short.

Tim--doing well....he has lots of reading. He was really stressed the first couple of days because of the disorganization. I made sure to unpack and organize all of his clothes first. We will get into a routine soon though.

Finally--we found a house. It was for sale by owner and they had already sold it, until the sale fell through last week. They had already moved out and were desperate to have is sold. They offered it to us for well below their original asking price and we couldn't pass it up. It is just down the street from Tim's parents and it backs to a huge park. It is 1800 sq ft with 3 finished bedrooms and 1 unfinished. It has a huge family room and is on just over a quarter of an acre. The back yard has a shed with electrical and an in-ground trampoline (the boys love that!!) Ethan was just thrilled because it has "4 stories" he said "It has always been my dream to live in a 4 story house!!!" It is one of the split-level homes.
Well, I have to take Zach to the bus stop ..... more later.
