52 things about Tim

OK I needed a break from the tour until I get the curtains hung up (see item #43).

52 things about Tim

  1. He was “painfully” shy as a child.
  2. Now he is just shy
  3. He has always talked about getting a graduate degree; it just took 7 years for us to find something we could agree on.
  4. He has no desire to be in a courtroom setting as an attorney.
  5. He is extremely intelligent.
  6. He graduated cum laude from BYU’s Engineering program.
  7. He didn’t like engineering.
  8. He is the oldest of 6 kids.
  9. The nurses went crazy over his dimples when he was born.
  10. None of his kids got his dimples.
  11. He cooks dinner most of the time…although that has changed since he started school.
  12. Now he does the dishes most of the time.
  13. He hates Macaroni and Cheese.
  14. He doesn’t like to have the same type of meals close to each other.
  15. When he was single he would make brownies every Sunday evening to lure the girls over after ward prayer.
  16. He never really officially asked me on our first date…the date just kind of unfolded over the course of the evening.
  17. He had an appendicitis after asking me out for a second date.
  18. It took him 8 months to kiss his first girlfriend.
  19. It took him two weeks to kiss me.
  20. The next day he brought up the topic of marriage.
  21. He likes to have something sweet after dinner every night… even if it is just a handful of chocolate chips.
  22. He is very frugal.
  23. He grew up in Utah and has never been downhill skiing.
  24. He thinks skiing costs too much money.
  25. He is a great dad.
  26. He has way more patience with the kids than me.
  27. He hardly ever mows the lawn. (I beat him to it 90% of the time)
  28. He is a sports fanatic.
  29. He goes to espn.com at least once a day, usually more often.
  30. He could tell you just about any recent sports news at any given time.
  31. He loves the Utah Jazz, and BYU sports.
  32. He gets really nervous at BYU football games, breaks out into a cold sweat and everything.
  33. He went home “sick” from church one Sunday and when his parents got home they found a muddy pair of shoes. (He had been in the backyard throwing a football around.)
  34. He never did that again.
  35. He knows lots of random facts about lots of things.
  36. He is really good at Trivial Pursuit because of it.
  37. He is not a confrontational person.
  38. Would consider himself a Democrat for Social Issues, but is a registered Republican for of Moral Issues.
  39. Likes to watch The Office, Heroes and Lost (and sports of course).
  40. Never had cable growing up.
  41. Would get cable now just to get ESPN, if he wasn’t so frugal and we weren’t so poor.
  42. Doesn’t procrastinate schoolwork.
  43. Does procrastinate household projects.
  44. Still humors me with all of my household projects.
  45. Is 8 months younger than me, and only reminds me of it occasionally.
  46. Would have been older if his mom had gotten pregnant when they wanted to.
  47. Was born in Provo, UT.
  48. Checks in on the blogging world during his law school classes.
  49. Hates making phone calls.
  50. misses Oregon and everyone there
  51. Didn't think I could come up with 50 things... HA HA! I just did 51
  52. He's perfect for me. There's 52!

I loved your list! We miss you too, Tim. And when he is breaking out in a cold sweat during games he can know that Brian is right there with him.

So I never knew that Tim was the one cooking dinner while you were out mowing the grass. That is a great list.

So, you weren't really supposed to know that he checks out blogs during lectures.
I wish I had a husband that could put more together for dinner than barbequed meat. Tim is a really great guy though and we miss all of you!!
