I found the floor!!!

Well, aside from maybe 10 misc. boxes...I am moved in! Yesterday I officially found the floor in all of the bedrooms. Gratefully, I have had my mom here for the past week helping me. Otherwise, who knows how long it would have taken. So, now I will begin the grand tour. Today, we will highlight the entry floor. We have a split level home with four levels...so here is what you find as you enter the front door. The front room is small, but it works. (you will see that I say this about almost every room in the house) I actually didn't anticipate getting a home big enough for two sets of couches, so I will take it. As you continue to the back of the house you find the dining room and kitchen. And that wraps up the tour of the "entry floor". I can't remember what I have said about the process of this whole selling/buying a home. It has been an experience I never want to repeat. The people who bought our home were ready to go on our close date (Sept. 20th) However, the people buying their home sent us all on a three week roller coaster of delays. I kept getting a "worst case scenario" of closing 3-4 days away. The worst case scenario was never truly worst case. But, as we know "this too shall pass", and we finally closed on the Oregon home on October 11th. Our title company here (along with us and the sellers of our new home) were anxiously awaiting the funds transfer on the 11th. The title company here was ready to go and had our home here closed on the same day. We all breathed a great sigh of relief. And (changing subjects completely) since I haven't posted for a while I have random pictures to post. Wyatt and Mallory chillin' on Wyatt's bed while my mom and I sorted clothes. Grandma and Mallory passed out after a long day. (Grandma is faking!) And finally, Mallory sticking her tongue out at Ethan.

Lovely pictures Tiffini! Mallory is getting so big since I last saw her! Of course babies will do that. Your home looks great. I am anxious to see how the yellow paint worked out. I am sure that you are breathing a sigh of relief now...

PS. I still have to explain to Sage that "Quiet" is in Utah. A couple of days ago he told me that when he grows up he's going to Utah and he'll se "Quiet". We miss you guys!

Your new home looks wonderful! Thanks for posting the pictures...it's nice to have a visual in my head when I think about you (which is often, by the way. Every time I pick up a Pampered Chef knife, scoop, bowl, ect!!) Miss you!

Your home looks so very nice! I'm glad you can finally call yourself "settled" and that the home is officially YOURS. I drive by your old home every day and get so sad to see different cars there. :( Glad things seem to be going well! Has Tim adjusted to school yet?
