He is three and a half...
All right, I should have expected this MONTHS, maybe years ago, but Wyatt has started getting out of bed on his own. He has always stayed in bed--quietly--every morning and after naptime until Tim or I go in to wake him up. We haven't messed with this little blessing, never encouraged him to change it, even when "waking him up" seemed to be an inconvenience. But, those glorious days are officially over. For the past week he has been waking up before 7am and coming to find us so that he could ask if it was morning yet. This morning (6:30am) I told him to get back into bed and he broke into tears. (He has been doing that a lot lately too.) Darn it all! Why couldn't he at least have waited until Mallory was sleeping through the night. Oh wait....I should be grateful that he has done it for this long...I mean he is three and a half!!!

Welcome to my world of a 3 year old coming in every stinking morning. Wether the baby was up all night or not! Can you tell I am a little jaded at the moment!
It's always hard to say goodbye to a good thing!:)
Oh...Ben stayed in his bed for the longest time, too! It was a sad, sad day when he figured out he could just put his legs down and walk out of his room. However, I learned that he likes to crawl into bed with me and watch cartoons, which we both enjoy :)
