The Luckiest Presents Ever

Memorable moments for Zach's sixth birthday:
-Spent the night throwing up and was sick all day
-Had to miss celebrating at school and having friends over after school
-Missed his kindergarten Christmas singing program
This birthday is one for the books! Today itself was a bust, but we did his traditional snowman cake on Sunday with the extended family. In his own words, he got the "luckiest" presents possible. His luckiest gift from Grandma and Grandpa Cluff was tons of paper and an art kit. Grandma and Grandpa Perkins kept up the luckiest gifts with a really cool transformer. Then Mom and Dad topped of the luckiest of gifts with an Art Easel/Chalkboard. So, in spite of his unlucky stomach, he still considered it a very lucky day!!!

Our favorite things about Zachary Bennett Cluff:
1. Zach is bright and loves to read.
2. He loves to learn about dinosaurs, animals and the world around him.
3. Zach is creative. He loves to draw and write books. He wrote a Halloween book called "Skeletons Spooky School" and brought it to school for his teacher to read to his class.
4. He has a smile that lights up his whole face. You always know when Zach is really happy.
5. Zach is very gentle with his baby sister. He can always get her to smile at him.
6. He is a trooper. He has had lots of not so fun visits to doctors/hospitals etc. and has been so brave through it all.
We love our Zachy. He lights up our lives. Happy Birthday Zachary!

Good glory. I can't believe you have a kid this big. The last time I saw you (I think) was at your wedding. Man. Congratulations to you on all your cute kids and hooray for me for finally finding a way to stay in touch with my long-lost cousin. ;)
