On Saturday, October 11th Ethan and I went to the BYU game against New Mexico. My friend, Alisha, invited us to join her and her parents. It was supposed to be a freezing cold afternoon so we bundled up in our shirts, sweatshirts, coats, gloves, hats etc. It wasn't as cold as we anticipated inside the stadium so we never had to pull out the warm blanket we brought along. Now, Ethan loves football. Loves it a lot. During football season he is sucked into any game that is on TV and he wants to play catch or football at every opportunity. He was so excited to get to see BYU play in person. I had a sore throat and fever the couple of days before the game. On Friday night I told him that if my throat was still sore in the morning we wouldn't be able to go. He told Tim that he really hoped I would wake up feeling perfect so that we could go. It was so fun to listen to him during the game. He could point out all of the "important" players. He also could tell me what call the referrees were about to make. We had a good time eating our two foot long maple bar (called a Cougar Tail) and drinking hot chocolate. Then, I took him out to dinner after the game. He was so exhausted by the time we got home. I am sure it was the most exciting event of the year for him. I am glad I got to share it with him.

Zach swallowed an Advil today. I know it doesn't sound too exciting but we have some pill swallowing-averse children. This is a big day!...

This was so sweet, what a special time for the both of you to share together!
And I love those pictures of you and your kids, too!!!
Awesome! Nate's jealous.
what a sweet thing to do with your son! I have thought about taking each of the girls out for special times and you just reinforced it!
