New words

Mallory is quite a little talker. She tries to mimic so many words...or maybe I just don't remember how quickly the other kids learned to talk. But, the other night I was making dinner and Mallory comes up next to me "Bite, bite, lunch" in a very demanding 'feed me now' way. She has also added these to her vocabulary:

bite
lunch
Shoes on
Shoes (she REALLY likes shoes)
poo poo
hungry (ungee--she really likes food)
doggie--anything four legged is doggie and anything with wings is ducky
cookie--after dinner the other day Tim was clearing the table. Mallory handed me her cup, said 'thank you' then looked at Tim and said 'cookie'.
thank you
cracker
baby

That's all I can think of right now. She is pretty amazing for a fourteen month old!

wow, that is amazing! But then again, all your kids have been gifted in the verbal department. :) I love the after dinner comment -- looks like she's already learned how to milk the system!

Wow! I remember taking Olivia to her 18 month appt and the doctor asking me if she knew ten words. I had to count woof and meow just to get to ten. And now I can't get her to stop talking! You are going to have your hands full answering questions all the time!

I love it when they learn to talk! Why then do I sometimes get so annoyed when Autumn won't stop talking? I need to remember how sweet it all is!
