Getting Settled

Baby is sleeping, Dora is on TV. A moment to myself? Not sure how long it would last but I figured it was a good time to blog. Our computer still isn't hooked up to the internet so there will be no pictures until that is done. We did have the 5th cast put on Darcy this week--more on that when I have pictures to show.

We have had a busy month. Packing, cleaning, visits to Doctors and trying to keep our heads above the water on day to day life. Monday we signed papers on the house and last night we took the last load of cleaning supplies out of the house and handed over the keys. It is a strange feeling. Different from the move here. I feel like a burden has been lifted from our shoulders. No more packing (for now). Now I can concentrate on the kids again and Tim can write his 30 page substantial writing paper. (And the 10 page paper for his other class.) I am almost organized again. Just have to go through Zach and Wyatt's clothes and the cleaning supplies. I think next week I am going to spend a few days accomplishing nothing outside of snuggling Darcy, reading books to Mallory, and helping the boys get through homework. I look forward to that.

Forgive me for not being there Tuesday to help you clean. I wanted to come help. I forgot and didn't feel well. Glad that burden is off your shoulders now. :)

That went so fast! I can't wait until you guys live closer...even if it's still far away. At least it will feel more doable then trying to get in a ton of vacation in a short amount of time. Snuggle that baby and relax! We were going to try to come for the blessing, but airline tickets were so expensive, and we didn't have enough time to coordinate work to drive.

I know with every baby I vow even more that I will hold and enjoy them, I guess because you realize how short it lasts. But life is just so darn busy! Good luck with the move.

Flag Football

Kickin' Kids offers a flag football season. Ethan and Zach both wanted to participate. We were able to get them on the same team and had...
