Pointing the Way to the Future
I love our elementary school. It is a brand new school this year and the Principal and Teachers have done a fabulous job of creating school spirit. Our school is named North Point and they are the North Point Navigators. The school put on a program titled "Pointing the Way to the Future". The overall lesson provided to the students and by the students was that throughout history, people have done hard things. From the invention of the compass to flying to the moon, people have accomplished the impossible and with hard work and determination, they can too. Zach's class sang a song about Christopher Columbus and his monumental 'discovery' of America.
Ethan's class sang a song about Henry Ford and the assembly line that transformed transportation.
Wyatt's class ended the program by singing "When You Wish upon a Star".

It was a fun program. Grandma Cluff and I went to the morning performance with Mallory, Lexi and Tyler. Tim and I got to leave the girls at home while we went to the evening performance. They all did a great job and we have been singing bits of their songs ever since.
