Ethan has been studying the constitution at school. They do a huge event as a culmination of the unit. Each student is given a topic to research and study. Then, they do a simulated senate hearing.
Ethan was given the topic of Federalism and how we see it in our everyday lives. Each student is considered an expert witness in the hearing and presents their topic in a one minute speech and then they are required to answer further questions from the judges. We had a parents preview night tonight. Ethan did a great job. He has been chosen as one of 50 students from his school to participate in the district showcase.
