A couple of random things....

Last night Mallory asked me if I could do a cartwheel. I told her that I could but that there wasn't enough room in the family room for me to do one. She immediately started moving stuffed animals out of the way and told me triumphantly--'There, now you have enough room'. Well, I couldn't refuse her after all that effort! I moved the ottoman out of the way, tested the height of the ceiling fan to make sure nothing would break and did a cartwheel for her. (I felt it in my legs--never realized that cartwheels stretched muscles like that but I was just fine.) Both Darcy and Mallory got so excited that they started trying to do cartwheels too. Of course they collided with each other.

This morning Darcy was up(way too early) and dressed before Mallory. When Mallory got dressed she ended up in a skirt because none of her pants matched her shirt and she insisted on the shirt. Darcy immediately ran from the room and I heard a bunch of noise coming from her room. Then, she showed back up in Mallory's room with a skirt from her closet and insisted that I change her clothes. This was all done in 'Darcy language'. 'Mally uh uh nya nya Mally' which being interpreted means 'Mallory is wearing a skirt and I want to wear a skirt too'.
