I have fallen...
I have fallen off of the Blog horse and this is my effort to get me back on. New Years Eve day we entered the world of family sickness and I am still trying to crawl out of it. Wyatt came down with the croupe and we ended up at the doctors getting a steroid shot for him. (Last year we spent a night at the ER getting breathing treatments so I was glad he got through it with just a shot) We were up at midnight New Years Eve, but we weren't celebrating. We were running steamy showers to help all three boys breathe better. By morning on New Years Day the boys and I were all a mess. It is interesting how a virus can effect each person differently. Wyatt had the typical croup. I had less severe croupy symptoms accompanied by severe chills. I spent a couple of days wrapped up in blankets and freezing. Ethan developed what is referred to as "Slapped Cheek Syndrome" or Fifth Disease. (look it up....it is really an interesting virus!) And Zach ran the whole range, from throwing up, to typical cold symptoms, to some fun trips to the restroom. Tim was spared and spent days caring for the rest of us. Gratefully, Mallory only has a runny nose. She has magically started taking a pacifier and sleeping through the night (until the runny nose kicked in.) So...once the runny nose goes away I hope that she can get into a really good schedule. Anyway, that is how the Cluff family started out 2008. We are all feeling so much better and Tim and the boys are back in school. I am still going to post about Christmas even though that feels like forever ago. Why you may ask? Because this is as close as I get to a journal/scrapbooking/family history etc. So, while everyone else is posting about January, I am going to do a flashback to Christmas 2007. But, not today, because I have 4 loads of laundry to fold, bathrooms to clean, sheets to wash and all of that other fun stuff that I haven't kept control of for the past week and a half. Happy New Year Everyone!!

Zach swallowed an Advil today. I know it doesn't sound too exciting but we have some pill swallowing-averse children. This is a big day!...

Welcome back! I hope everyone continues to feel better. I know that various viruses have been making the rounds up here, too. And whenever you get around to blogging Christmas, we will happily read it. :) No rush.
Happy New Year. I hope your crew if feeling better fast and I'll look for those Christmas pictures!
I am glad to hear that you are feeling better. I hope Mallory starts to sleep again as soon as she is better.
I hope everyone is feeling better - we have had that fifths diesease thing several times at our house. I though about you as we had our enrichment last night, I sure miss you:)
I really THOUGHT about you not though you, sorry for the misspelling
I'm so sorry you had such a rotten start to the new year. Hopefully that means you've gotten it all out of the way for the year:)
Man that's a bummer you have all been sick, except Tim. Are the boys loving all the snow you guys have been getting? I saw on the news that Utah has been buried in snow lately. That must be fun.
Happy New Year, Tiffiny! Glad to hear you are feeling better. Looking forward to hearing about your Christmas...after the laundry and sheets are done :)
You poor thing! Poor Zach always gets the worst of it!
Happy New Year! Im glad to see that you posted your Christmas!
One of my kids had fifths disease, it's actually really common. Any rash that has no issues and just presents as a rash they call fifths. It is not fun. It's kindof crazy all of the things our kids come home with.
