Ethan's Birthday

Ethan's birthday was on a Saturday this year, which made celebrations easy. We invited all of the local extended family over for pizza. We ate dinner, opened gifts, and then played. It was a very relaxed celebration.

1. Chocolate cake with Chocolate frosting.
2. Opening my birthday presents!
3. Playing Wii on my birthday.
4. Inviting Calvin and Brayden over even though it wasn't a year for a 'friend' party.
5. Getting tickets to BYU football games for this season. Go Cougars!
6. Getting a ton of Pokemon cards.
7. Lots of Reese's candy--yum.
8. Ski and Shoot for the Wii.
9. Playing outside with my new football and soccer goal.

I feel very blessed to have Ethan in our family. He is a wonderful big brother and is so thoughtful of other people. He is intelligent, kind and always willing to help. Every once in a while we are seeing a bit of teenager come out in him. But, those occasions are still rare and we mostly get to enjoy our amazingly talented boy. Happy Birthday Ethan!
