We finally made it to the Botanical Garden Light display!
We tried to go a couple of times before Christmas and kept having conflicts. I am really glad we didn't miss it. It was beautiful. They served cookies and hot chocolate and had fires going in different spots so that you could warm up.
Most of the lights were normal Christmas lights but we found these flower lights.
They gave the tree such a different look and the kids loved them.
I will definitely be on the lookout for these kind of lights for our house--it would be worth the effort of extension cords and stuff to put them up in our trees. As you can see from the pictures--the kids are all wearing their new hats from Aunt Sarah. They got so many comments while we were walking around. Someone would say something about the minion hats and then Mallory would point out that she has a piggy hat and Darcy has a panda. She did not want to be left out!
