Spelling Bees

We just found out that all three of the boys are in the school spelling bee. What does that mean? It means that they were one of the top three spellers in their class. It also means that I will be spending a good chunk of my Friday at the school watching them spell. I am so excited for each of them. My only memory of spelling bees in elementary school was when I was one of the top two in my class (only one got to move on) and I misspelled 'music'. I put a K on the end and the moment it came out of my mouth I was horrified by my mistake. I have been self conscious of my spelling abilities ever since. So, I am living vicariously through my boys. They have all heard my story enough times that I don't think they are in danger of misspelling musik.
